We love being in Yaxley and building community here. But there are some times when it’s good to get away together.
Every year in September, as a church we take the opportunity to look at where we’ve been, what we’ve done, and understand more about where we’re going.
How does it work?
Typically spanning two days from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime, we gather together for a weekend of worship with separate programmes for adults and children.
We follow a theme for the weekend, with individual teaching sessions that break out into group discussions. But most of all, we like to offer the weekend as an opportunity to spend time in worship, prayer, and sharing what God is saying to us – as individuals and as a church.
There’s also plenty of time for socialising over food and we have an afternoon free to allow people to go out and see some of the local sights and reflect on God’s creation.
We are always blown away by how powerfully God meets with us when we dedicate time to Him.
