We want to ensure young people have a sense of belonging. That’s why we have unique groups for teenagers.
One way to make this happen is through our youth group. It offers young people – aged 11-16 (school years 6-11) – a range of exciting and engaging activities, both on Sundays and during the week.
Sundays
On Sunday mornings, we meet during the 10.30am service. The programme consists of a wide range of activities, from discussion and Bible study to interactive games. Sessions focus on a different theme each term.
Central to all we do is to give young people the opportunity to explore faith for themselves. We encourage them to be curious and ask questions, to try and understand God for themselves, and to help them move towards regular prayer and Bible study.
Midweek
Once a month we have a more informal get together. Often we’ll be playing games and reading the Bible together, as well as praying for one another.
Our aim is to make faith real and create independent followers of Jesus – all helped along by a range of activities and involvement in the church and wider community.
