We want to bring God’s kingdom into reality in Yaxley – today and tomorrow.
We invest a huge amount of time and energy in pursuit of our vision. But there are many occasions when we require resources as well. The work we’re doing in the community, the projects we’re running, and the basic costs of running a church. This all adds up – and that means spending money.
If you would like to give to St. Peter’s we suggest you prayerfully consider what you can give.
We have various ways to give:
Standing Orders: Monthly giving is vital to the church; it helps us to plan our projects and manage our budget efficiently. To set up a standing order, log into your online banking or visit your local branch with our bank account details:
Account Number: 50085219
Sort Code: 20-67-37
Quote reference as: Your first name and surname
Once you have set up the standing order, please let Debbie know so she can identify your gift.
If you prefer for us to set up your Standing Order, please download the form and once completed, return to Paul or Debbie for processing. Forms can also be collected from the Welcome Desk in church.
If you are a UK Taxpayer you can make your gift go further by completing a Gift Aid Declaration.
Sunday Services: You can give by cash, card, Apple/Google Pay or cheque (made payable to St. Peter’s Yaxley PCC) at our Sunday Services. Cash and cheques can be placed in the offertory, whilst card payments can be processed quickly and securely at the Welcome Desk (coming soon).
If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider completing the Gift Aid yellow envelopes, prior to donating cash and cheques. This will help your gift go that little bit further.
All these options help the running of the church, the services, the events, the community and all those supported by St. Peter’s. We thank you for the gifts you provide.
We believe that everything on Earth belongs to God and we simply look after what has been given to us. He is generous to us through His love and grace, and because of that, we strive to give back to Him. He loved us first and made a sacrifice for us – that means we do not give what we have leftover – whether that is time, energy or money. We make regular giving a priority, meaning we give to God first and everything else follows. We are responsible for the gifts He has given us, so we must ask God what His desire is for the skills, time or resources we have. When we know what we’re giving and where it’s going, God calls us to give with joy – after all, we’re bringing His Kingdom closer by doing it!
