Join with us, as we join with the nations, in our service of remembrance.
This afternoon, the Sunday closest to Armistice Day on the 11th of November, we join together with people around the country and around the world to remember those who selflessly gave themselves and their lives in pursuit of others’ freedom.
A 2-minute silence is held each year at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, remembering and marking the end of the First World War, but this Remembrance Sunday service recognises and commemorates all those who have suffered or died in war. It is open to anyone, but often attended by former and serving members of the armed forces.
