In this talk we hear how the power of the resurrection can provide us with a cutting edge that can make an impact in our rather indifferent society. Just as the resurrection had a transformative effect on the first followers of Jesus, it can transform hearts and minds now in our markedly different world.
Have you been on a difficult journey? Sometimes we all have challenging journeys to make in life. Jesus made a difficult journey on Good Friday to the cross. It wasn't just hard for him, but for his friends and family too. It ended with his death. That was the end. But was it? Here we explore the question: "Why did Jesus have to die?" and why our response on Easter Sunday is: "He is risen indeed. Alleluia!"
On Good Friday we commemorated Jesus' death on the cross - we reflected on all the events surrounding His crucifixion and remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. In a series of monologues, the events of Good Friday are presented in a number of different ways to help us capture and understand the different thoughts, actions, and feelings of those who were experiencing the events as they happened.
